When one of our customers gave us a call, their old split system had just about given up—struggling to keep the house warm during chilly mornings and barely hanging on when the heatwaves hit. It was definitely time for an upgrade!

What We Did:

• First, we carefully decommissioned and removed the old unit, making sure to safely cap off any old drains, electrical connections, and copper refrigeration lines.
  
  
• Then we got to work installing the brand-new head unit inside the property, setting it up with a back-to-back configuration to keep things neat, efficient, and space-saving.
  
  
• Outside, we mounted the new external unit onto the existing plinth (and provided a fresh mounting bracket if needed) for a sturdy and secure finish.
  
  
• We ran new refrigeration lines and interconnection wiring (up to 3 metres total) between the internal and external units, ensuring everything was protected with new capping to keep it looking sharp and safe from the weather.
  
  
• Before handing it over, we pulled a full 500-micron vacuum, tested for leaks, ran the system through both heating and cooling cycles, and made sure everything was operating perfectly.
  
  
• Finally, we gave the customer a full walkthrough of how to use their new unit, just in time for the colder nights ahead!
