Plumbing

Check for any visible leaks in your plumbing system, get it fixed sooner than later to help you save water and money. It is an easy fix for us, and it is best to do it before it becomes a bigger issue.
Cleaning the roof gutter and keeping your drainage areas from leaves and debris will save you from a big headache particularly after a season of summer storms.
Disconnect and drain garden hoses.

Inspect windows and doors for drafts and seal any leaks, cracks or gaps with weatherstripping. A small draft -which is easy to fix- can increase your electricity bill up to 10%.
Consider upgrading to a programmable thermostat for energy efficiency.
Clear debris, leaves, and vegetation away from the outdoor HVAC unit.
Check for any visible damage to the unit.
