Recipe: Easy Apple & Cinnamon Crumble 

A warm and comforting autumn dessert that’s simple to make!

Ingredients:

For the filling:

  • 4 large apples (Granny Smith or Pink Lady), peeled & sliced
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

For the crumble topping:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup plain flour
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 100g butter, melted

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Toss apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Place in a baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Stir in melted butter until crumbly.
  4. Sprinkle crumble over the apples.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and bubbling.
  6. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or custard.
