Recipe: Easy Apple & Cinnamon Crumble
A warm and comforting autumn dessert that’s simple to make!
Ingredients:
For the filling:
- 4 large apples (Granny Smith or Pink Lady), peeled & sliced
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
For the crumble topping:
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup plain flour
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 100g butter, melted
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Toss apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Place in a baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Stir in melted butter until crumbly.
- Sprinkle crumble over the apples.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and bubbling.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or custard.
